CanAm Interventions 101
CanAm Interventions 101 is an orientation training program that focuses on the principles, philosophies, and basics behind the most popular intervention disciplines utilized today.
This training is beneficial to those working in the addiction, mental health, medical, legal and first responder fields. “Interventions 101” gives a broad overview of what is to be expected, introduces resources, and will guide you through how best to assist in the intervention process.
Our CanAm Interventions course will introduce you to key terms, concepts, and processes, and ultimately map out the national certification process for those aspiring to do interventions or be supportive team members.
Certified Intervention Professionals:
Certified Intervention Professionals guide families, friends, and anyone in the general public through an intervention process that is designed to culminate in the substance user being encouraged to accept the help that is being offered. Addiction is a matter of life or death, which makes being trained and specializing in this field a vital element of providing help. Doctors, lawyers, professors and most important occupations require certification.
Interventions are no different.
A Certified Intervention Professional is not a marketer or recruiter for a treatment facility; they are strictly a front-line specialist who has been hired by a family to engage their loved one and provide the desired results. We are hired to head up a recovery team that engages an individual and their family, and ultimately save lives.
