Family Services

“At the heart of intervention, the family is the patient.”

Family Coaching

Therapeutic Family Coaching equips families with the tools for effective communication. Unlike family therapy, it focuses on setting goals, recognizing barriers, altering problematic behaviors, and fostering empathy among family members. It promotes the cultivation of understanding, love, and a sense of security. The presence of a neutral third party can facilitate the development of a new, positive internal dialogue.

Navigating Family Coaching:

  • Family dynamics can be challenging, often entangled with a complex history of alliances and disputes.
  • Supporting a family can significantly influence the mindset of a person in recovery.
  • Therapeutic Family Coaching offers guidance in building a supportive network. Utilizing an experienced coach can aid a family during crises, times needing additional support, or when seeking to establish healthy boundaries with professional assistance.
  • A skilled coach can discern a wide array of mental, emotional, and physical health objectives. An independent, impartial party is instrumental in identifying underlying issues, transforming conflicts into constructive actions.
  • The ultimate aim is to foster cooperative behavior among all members without assigning blame.
  •  A seasoned counselor can detect patterns and behaviors that hinder the family’s well-being and guide them towards a unified objective: a favorable outcome.

A Family Coaching Approach

Our goal is to treat the whole family offering family coaching to families who face multiple challenges with a loved one’s addiction or mental health conditions.

  1. We provide education for families affected by addictions and/or mental health challenges.
  2. We will help minimize the emotional pressures families experience while building healthy relationships through the recovery process.
  3. We help to identify and reduce the challenges that families like yours are having when seeking care, to reduce everyday stress and to take away the need to manage your loved one’s recovery process.
  4.  We offer a way to navigate the maze of treatment options and manage the recovery process.

Types of Family Support

In person three day workshop

In the comfort of your own home, we come to you providing a three-day family educational workshop for those who have been affected by addictions and/or mental health challenges.

Online private family groups

Our family counselors provide online private family support weekly groups. Many of our clients come from different geographic locations and aren’t always able to travel to do a family program.

Family coaching

Family coaching support will help minimize the emotional pressures families experience while building healthy relationships. Gaining healthy communication and coping strategies will help create loving limits.

Individual coaching

Individual coaching can identify a broad range of mental, emotional, and physical health goals. It is valuable to have a professional to support families and their loved ones with the transition from inpatient to aftercare treatment.

Addiction support

Denial is a common struggle with addiction or mental health diagnoses. Providing accountability through support groups help participants stay on track with their addiction recovery through shared experiences.

Mental health support

It often takes outside help to address mental health issues and pave a way forward to recovery. If left untreated, a mental illness can be debilitating. Early intervention is an effective way to help manage a mental health issue.
