Patricia Pike CEO of CanAm Interventions philosophy in working with clients is rooted in assessment, evaluation, and meeting each person where they are. I recognize that every individual and family has unique needs, and I approach each case with respect for their personal process rather than trying to push them into mine.
I believe change is a journey, not a demand. My role is to provide guidance, ideas, and practical strategies that help clients consider new ways of approaching their challenges. At the same time, I honor that true change must come from within them — it has to be their process, not mine.
I also understand that progress can look different for everyone. Sometimes it may appear as though a person is stuck or even moving backward, but that can be part of the natural cycle of change. Clients often need to go through stages of grief, awareness, and skill-building before they can move forward in a sustainable way.
My responsibility is to walk alongside them through that process, providing support, structure, and accountability. Ultimately, it is not what someone says that reflects change, but what they do over time. Transformation can take time, or it can happen quickly, but either way my role is to create the space for authentic, lasting change to emerge.
