Patricia Pike CEO of CanAm Interventions is an International Interventionist and Addiction Specialist working in the chemical dependency field supporting clients and their families wounded by addiction and its associated mental health disorders. She is a highly effective Trauma-Informed and Family Systemic Interventionist with an extraordinary success rate of 92% for helping those in need of getting into treatment and recovery, as well as helping and facilitating the healing process for the identified addict’s families, friends, associates, and employers, and resolving the myriad complications and difficulties associated with addiction.
Addictions are a global crisis and it has never been more important to have highly effective and ethical approaches for interventions from certified and credentialed interventionists. Patricia M. Pike (LAADC, CAADC II, ICADC & CIP) is a highly trained expert with over 25 years of professional experience and 26 years of her own personal recovery from addictions holds an accredited certification in addiction studies both in the U.S. and Canada.

Howard. B Marlin
Howard B (Howie) Marlin is a Masters Level Addictions Counselor, Crisis Interventionist, Emergency Services Clinician and Addictions Interventionist who earned his BA in Counseling Psychology from Stockton State University, and Masters in Education from Cambridge College in 1985. He is a Licensed Addictions Specialist at the senior level accepting insurances- LADC1; Board Certified Intervention Professional through the Pennsylvania Certification Board- CIP; Certificated in Traumatic Stress Studies from The Trauma Center at JRI; as well as Certified Recovery Coach, Recovery Coach for The ER, and Recovery Coach Professional Certification through CCAR.
Jeffrey J. Merrick
Jeffrey J. Merrick, Esq. is our Senior Advisory Counsel providing additional guidance and support to our clients with criminal charges, professional licensing issues and other legal matters. He is a seasoned criminal defense attorney, alternative sentencing specialist and a fellow consulting interventionist. We routinely partner with Mr. Merrick to provide broader solutions for recovering clients with legal problems and, just as importantly, to help our legal clients with recovery problems. Mr. Merrick specializes in the defense of mental health, drug and alcohol-related cases. His expertise is in care advocacy, helping us create for our clients treatment solutions and alternative sentencing.
Sharon R. Jackson
Sharon is a ‘seasoned veteran’, working in the addiction field since 1989. Early in her career, Sharon developed resilience, compassion and empathy working on the ‘front lines’ with Federal Corrections, the Intensive Youth & Child Care Resource and various out-patient addiction clinics on the Vancouver Downtown East Side. Today, decades later, she specializes in the treatment of those affected by addiction in a loved one. She describes her work with the team at Interventions Canada as the most rewarding aspect of her career. An active member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation since 1997, she maintains accreditations with multiple boards.
Recovery Companion & Transport Specialist
Michael is a seasoned Executive Protection Transport Specialist & Sober Companion providing professional services in the private sector and to the recovery community for over 31 years. Mr. Hughes have worked with Patricia Pike Interventionist/Addiction Specialist for the past year supporting her on various intervention cases and provided transport and recovery coaching services to clients and supporting families. Michael has a clear understanding of substance abuse, caring for the individuals that he works with and has much passion to connect persons with positive resources in the community. Mr. Hughes is verse and has expertise’s working with on many high profile cases as well as he is very flexible in his approaches to support many persons from all walks of life.

Adam has held various positions throughout his time working in recovery including positions in adult psychiatric and substance use facilities, and adolescent psychiatric and substance use facilities. Adam specializes in counseling families through the process of finding their loved one a recovery program that increases their chance to be successful. Using a communication-driven approach, he regularly visits homes to facilitate family interventions to help motivate individuals to get to treatment. Adam is passionate about helping addicts and alcoholics achieve sobriety. He is grateful to be able to witness and take part in the reunification of families and instill hope, happiness and freedom within others. Adam is a nationally accredited interventionist with the Pennsylvania Board and the A.I.I.
A Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60921607) and Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) in the state of Washington (CP 60898749 currently pending). I received my Masters of Counseling Psychology from Northwest University in July 2017. Prior to this, I received a BA in Sociology from the University of Washington in 2015. Additionally, I took certificate courses with a focus on Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Bellevue College. I believe we all need support and encouragement with a foundation of true connection and compassion.
